The Safe Flange Gasket

ANSI flange gaskets with a built-in material identification tag. Know what's in your line with quick, at-a-glance identification that streamlines every step from the receiving dock to final inspection. Easy installation with no pinch-point injury risk.

How it works

Every Safe Flange Gasket carries a tag with a code that identifies its material. The tag stays visible outside the flange for the life of the joint.

  1. Receiving

Check the material at the dock by reading the tag. No guessing from color, no smelling the gaskets, no digging for packing slips.

  2. Installation

Hold the gasket by its tag to line it up with the bolt holes. Installers never put their fingers between the flanges, which eliminates pinch-point injuries.

  3. Inspection

Post-installation, inspectors can confirm at a glance that the gasket is the correct material.

Material verification

Rubber tested in-house with FT-IR

We test rubber material in-house with a Bruker ALPHA II, a compact, laptop-sized Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectrometer. It reads the infrared fingerprint of each rubber sample and matches it against an aerospace-grade reference library to confirm exactly what the material is.
